It was one year ago today that we left our life in the U.S. and ventured out on our great Brazilian adventure!
It was one year ago today:
~That I said good-bye to my friends and family to find new friends and more family here in Brazil.
~That I put my faith and trust in God and said, "Here am I, send me".
~That I left behind all the "comforts" and "familiar" things in my life to open myself up to learning a whole new culture and way of life.
I have learned so much this year:
~It has been a year of many struggles and hardships, but God has been here with us and teaching us in the midst of them.
~It has been a year of growth and trust, and God has been here with us and teaching us in the midst of them.
~It has been a year of joy and new experiences, and God has been here with us and teaching us in the midst of them.
What a year it has been! We really don't know what God has for us in the coming year, but again we are opening our hearts and hands and saying, "Your will, not ours be done, Lord". So we look forward to this coming year and all that God will reveal and teach us, once again.
